My Party Music DJ is a mobile DJ service, based near Worcester in the UK.
We offer mobile DJ services for weddings and all sorts of parties and events, from family birthdays to company or charity events, Christmas parties and dance parties, across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
Why is My Party Music DJ different?
If you want a standard DJ service then that is absolutely fine, we can provide that – we’ll bring the music. However, if you wish, we can help to build the party atmosphere too – with simple dance teaching or sessions integrated into your event. These are a great way to get everyone involved and having fun.
For example, how about some simple Salsa, Cha Cha or fun party dances? You’ll be amazed how the party atmosphere increases when everyone is up and joining in.

Getting a Quote from us – once we have some basic details from you, we will provide you with a formal Quote in writing (PDF via email). Just contact us initially to discuss your Event details – including date, location and timings – or as much as you know at that point.
Payment – once you’ve had a Quote from us, if you wish to proceed, we will provide you with a written Invoice (again PDF via email). The cost on the Invoice will be split into 2 items – a Deposit and a Balance. Paying your Deposit will secure your Event date with us – meaning that nobody else can book that date with us. The remaining Balance is then due, in full, a few weeks before your Event date – the Balance Due Date will be shown on the Invoice. Deposit and Balance payments are normally made via Bank Transfer using your on-line banking, as it is the simplest and quickest method – full details are provided on your Invoice. We can accommodate payments by debit and credit cards, if needed, but these have a small additional fee as we get charged directly by the card services provider for any transactions – so please do ask if needed. Bank transfers are free – hence it is the preferred method as it keeps costs down.

Additional Info
Insurance – often referred to as Public Liability Insurance, it’s not something any of us like to spend much time thinking about, but yes, My Party Music DJ is fully insured. This can be an issue as some venues will insist on the DJ being insured – you don’t want to get caught out at the last minute so always ask your intended DJ beforehand to make sure. Note: some venues actually delegate this to you as their “hirer” so you may be directly responsible / liable. Thus we’d strongly advise checking the hiring terms and conditions from your venue. We are happy to provide our Certificate of Insurance if required, to you or your venue, on request.
DBS – a DBS certificate can be provided if required – e.g. for Children’s parties.
PAT Tested Equipment – again, not something we tend to think about, but many venues will insist on DJ equipment being PAT Tested, with a relevant Test Log / Certificate. So, in order not to get caught out at the last minute, ask your intended DJ beforehand to make sure. We are happy to provide PAT Test details if required.
